We have our unique software solution to detect USB host OS.
- This is particularly useful for USB Ethernet.
- If host OS is Windows, device runs as USB RNDIS device, Windows can automatically load RNDIS driver.
- If host OS is macOS or Linux, device runs as USB CDC ECM device, macOS or Linux can automatically load CDC ECM driver.
- This way, USB device can support Windows, macOS and Linux. All hosts can automatically load respective driver.
